Understand the format
A race display contains a race identifier and a set of runners. A runner number is a label for that race, not a permanent prediction of finishing order.
What to read on the screen
Check whether the app describes a simulated race or a real-event feed. Start status, result publication and settlement can differ. Do not assume that a game animation represents a live sporting event.
A worked reading example
Runner 3 in race A and runner 3 in race B belong to different events. Keep the full race or round identifier with any result you review.
A useful question to ask
What should I check before using another version’s rules?+
Check the full game name, selected variant and active help screen. The example above explains a format; it does not replace your room’s rules, controls or settlement conditions.
Examples are illustrations, not live round results. Previous outcomes do not guarantee the next result. Keep personal limits on time and spending.
